Our dedicated R&D and production teams maximise the properties of our industrial minerals: ball clay, chamotte, feldspar, halloysite, kaolin, mica, pegmatite, quartz and talc. We provide our customers with a competitive edge.

Imerys Ceramics' origins are to be found in Europe, with many assets in France, Germany and the United Kingdom. The Group was created in April 1880; its origins were in mining and metallurgy. Imetal changed its name to Imerys in 1999. In 2010, tableware, sanitaryware, tiles and quartz business units merged to form Imerys Ceramics. 

Today Imerys Ceramics is part of the Ceramic Materials business group, encompassing Minerals for Ceramics, Building Materials and Kiln Furniture.

As a market driven group, the recent acquisitions or business developments have taken place in developing geographies like Brazil, India, South East Asia and the Middle East to serve local industries and increase our gobal product offering.
