Imerys Ceramic Centre
The Imerys Ceramic Centre is an
innovation team, which specialises in developing new minerals and
applications. Its activities target developments in all ceramic
applications (traditional & advanced ceramics) and the continual
growth of Imerys Ceramics’ raw material offering. The Centre, based in
Limoges, France, has over 20 scientists, including experts in geology,
mineral evaluation, mineral processing with extensive market knowledge.
The Imerys Ceramic Centre provides support to Imerys Ceramics in its
usual markets: Electrical Porcelain, Fiberglass, Glass, Sanitaryware,
Tableware and Tiles and proposes innovative solutions in developing new
ceramic applications. The main aims of the Centre is to take a leading
role in the innovation process in order to reduce energy costs, to
improve technical performance and to increase the use value of ceramics.
